Report content you believe infringes your rights.

We review good-faith notices that identify protected work and the allegedly infringing material clearly.

What to include in a notice

  1. Identification of the copyrighted work or other intellectual property you believe has been infringed.
  2. The exact URL and a clear description of the material you believe is infringing.
  3. Your full name and reliable contact information.
  4. A statement that you have a good-faith belief the disputed use is not authorized by the rights holder, its agent, or the law.
  5. A statement, made under penalty of perjury, that the information is accurate and that you are the rights holder or authorized to act for the rights holder.
  6. Your physical or electronic signature.

Our review process

After receiving a complete notice, we may request additional information, remove or disable access to material, and notify the relevant party where appropriate. Incomplete notices may delay review.

Counter-notices

If material was removed because of mistake or misidentification, the affected party may submit a counter-notice identifying the removed material, explaining the good-faith basis for restoration, providing contact details, consenting to the appropriate legal jurisdiction, and including a signature.

Knowingly making a material misrepresentation in an infringement notice or counter-notice may create legal liability. Consider obtaining independent legal advice if you are unsure.
